When you are buying kids clothing for your children and yet you are not with them, it sometimes hard to say what’s the exact size or measurement of the clothing you will buy when the sales person asked you. The good fit of the clothing is very important so you should have known it before buying one. Here are ways to have the measurement of your kids:
Ø Get the height of the child by letting him/her stand against the wall with the feet flat. Mark the top of the head and then measure from the floor up to that mark.
Ø Take the chest measurement of the kid by wrapping the tape measure around his/her chest under the arms.
Ø Then, take the waist measurement just slightly above the navel.
Ø Get the measurement of the hip by rounding the tape measure at the fullest point of the buttocks and hips.
Ø Have the inseam and skirt length measurement using the garments that fit well.
Ø Write down all of the measurement that you have.
